Cricket dec 2010

  1. 2. The true cricket fan ensures he gets to the stadiums. He wants to feel cricket. He has the energy and gumption to cross all odds and borders to see his icons, his heroes in the flesh. There is another ‘fan’ also, one who catches the matches on the television, or is busy with work and must know what is happening. He is the fan – who must be updated.
  2. 3. In films – we get the cast & crew In music – we get the singers & Directors In Civic affairs – we get the BMC commissioner But we can’t expect our players to give us the updates, we can’t always have the commentators and experts giving us their opinion during the match. Then how do we speak CRICKET to our audience?
  3. 4. Cricket is what everyone is talking about. What if Cricket could talk to you?
  4. 5. Radio City par ab – Cricket Bolega
  5. 6. Radio City 91.1 – the station to get all your updates, all your information and all your gyaan on the current world cup. Past world cups. The players, their stats and predictions for the game.
  6. 7. Everyone will do that?? We would do that anyway?? Is there an Idea in this ppt??
  7. 8. We take the game straight to the Fans. The non-fans. And we get down to doing what we do best. Entertain. The idea is to make cricket speak for itself. YES!! Cricket now has a voice and that voice can be heard on Radio City. Everything and anything related to cricket will now lend its voice with not just the statistics and the facts and the know-how. But will also have an opinion. A personality. A point of view.
  8. 9. So, if you are a fan of the game. You already know the game speaks to you. Now you can hear it all on Radio City. Sachin ka Bat bolega, Dravid ke Pads bolenge, Umpire shepard ka Hat bolega, Humne toh suna hai – ki Wankhede stadium bhi bolega. Radio City pe Cricket Bolega.!!
  9. 11. <ul><li>Sachin’s Bat </li></ul><ul><li>Umpires Hats </li></ul><ul><li>Birds flying over stadiums in Foreign Lands </li></ul><ul><li>Stadiums themselves </li></ul><ul><li>Husseys Shoes </li></ul><ul><li>Indian Jersey </li></ul><ul><li>Dhoni’s Sipper </li></ul><ul><li>The Dressing Room </li></ul><ul><li>The Commentators Mike </li></ul><ul><li>The Season Ball </li></ul><ul><li>The boundary rope </li></ul><ul><li>Pontings Gloves </li></ul><ul><li>The Flood Lights </li></ul><ul><li>Not to forget the World Cup – his majesty himself. </li></ul><ul><li>And many more. . . . </li></ul>

  11. 13. Script – Radio City pe Cricket Bolega. (a shrill punjabi boy voice) - Namasteji, main Yuvraaj ka glove bol raha hoon ji. Mohali ke special performance ke baad. . . Aaj toh main itna geela hua, itna geela hua. . Ki mujhe rona aa gaya aur phir main aur bhi geela ho gaya. Itna pressure aa gaya bhai uspe, mujhe lagta hai – agar iss match mein bhi pichle match jaisa performance rehta – toh agle kuch mahinoon tak main phir se ranji ke lock rooms mein paaya jaata. . Hahahaha. . Yuvi, buck up yaar. . M.V.O – Radio City pe Cricket Bolega. . Har match, har stadium, har haal. World Cup 2011. . Suno sirf Radio City 91.1 par.
