  2. 2. What is a WebQuest?• A WebQuest is a learning tool utilizing technologies associating with the World Wide Web to support active and cooperating learning methods. WebQuest follows a pattern, allowing students to explore certain issues, base their findings, and come up with their own conclusions.
  3. 3. Why use WebQuest?• Integrating Technology• Increase student motivation• Higher-level thinking/discover by themselves• Take roles (team)• Cooperative learning
  4. 4. When Can a WebQuest be Used? be Used?• WebQuest can be used in any subject area and any grade level. A single WebQuest can be used for a whole-class discussion or independent work.

WebQuest Pattern• Introduction: Identify the problem• Task: Describes the activity in detail• Process: What are the strategies used to complete the task?• Resources: A list of required websites• Evaluation: Conduct the evaluation results• Conclusion: Sum up the activity & reflect on the results
