STaR Chart Overview <ul><li>Federal law requires states to report progress towards technology excellence </li></ul><ul><li>Texas uses the School Technology and Readiness Chart (STaR Chart) </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Used to evaluate progress toward meeting the goals of the Long-Range Plan for Technology ( LRPT ) Click the link to see the plan. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Used for technology planning, budgeting for resources, and evaluation of progress in technology projects </li></ul></ul>
