2. The Number Line
The number line is often used to picture numbers.
In algebra we use numbers to the left of zero too.
The numbers to the right of zero are called positive
numbers.
The numbers to the left of zero are called negative
numbers.
The numbers shown on the above number line form the set
of integers.
