  • 2. ASSESS VALUES Use the My Values Inventory to help you find out the things that are important to you, for example - • Helping Society • Artistic Creativity • Helping Others • Independence • Prestige • Risk Taking • Stability • Working Outdoors
  • 3. MY VALUES INVENTORY On the MAIN MENU page, under STEP 1: Self Analysis, click on My Values Inventory.
  • 4. COMPLETE VALUES INVENTORY • ″You should only pick the 3 values that you are MOST IMPORTANT to you. ″ • When you get to the bottom of each page, click the NEXT ► button.
  • 5. CAREER MATCH MAKING USING VALUES On the left side of the Explore Occupations that Match your Values page, you will find your TOP 3 Values.
  • 6. REFINE CAREER LIST Refine the Career List to show careers that require different levels of training.
  • 7. DIFFERENT LEVELS OF CAREERS Different levels of training include – • High School Diploma or GED Certificate • Vocational or Technical Institute Certificate • Associate or 2 Year Degree • Bachelor Degree • Advanced Degree 7
  • 8. EXAMPLES OF CAREERSCareers that contain all the Values you selected may include:• Career Counselor• Criminal Lawyer• Educational Administrator• Real Estate Lawyer• Special Education Administrator• Student Financial Aid Administrator
  • 9. ASSESS SKILLS My Skills Inventory tells you the things that you are good at, for example – • Communication Skills • People Skills • Problem Solving Skills • Management Skills • Creative and Artistic Skills • Scientific Skills
