Medicine Medicine to me is not “I like science and I like helping people.” Medicine is about fixing problems. This is why I aspire to be a surgeon. Surgeons are considered the best of the best. “the art and science of surgery, the beautiful blending of medicine and precision.” The system needs to focus on patients, not procedures.
