      • By the time the Alamo battle began, she was 20 and did not know how to read or write.

      • Susanna had a fifteen month old daughter named Elizibeth Angela.
      • Susanna and the other woman and children hid from the Mexican soldiers. They hid inside the chapel.

      • Her husband, Almeron Dickinson died in the battle.
