  4. 4. C=Color • Red you’re dead • White is all right
  5. 5. A=Arrow • Is the arrow pointing to your car? • If not, your parking space is safe • If so, you may have to go…read the rule
  6. 6. D=Date/Time • What days/times does the parking rule apply
  7. 7. E=Except-Double Except • Except what type of vehicle is permitted to park here? • Commercial • Truck loading/unloading • Permit parking • Authorized • Taxi
  8. 8. Let’s analyze the red sign • Color (C)-Red you’re dead, if you’re parking a passenger vehicle • Arrow (A)-Points to my space • Days/Time (D)-Mon-Sat/7AM-7PM • Except (E)-NO STANDING, except commercial vehicles, from 7AM-7PM • 2nd Except-means, you are permitted to park your passenger or commercial vehicle on Sundays. (yea!).
