  • 1.
    • Lomer Hope, Grace, and Penny Dela Cruz was sent out by Bible Baptist Church, Cebu City, Philippines as missionaries to Cambodia
    • On March 1997, they arrived in Phom Penh the day after the bombings happened.
  • 2. Bible Baptist Church Cebu City and Pastor Armie Jesalva prayerfully hoped that the Cambodian people will receive the gospel.
  • 3. The church in Dangkao was started through tract distribution which was done in Phum Thalay on July 1998 which was followed by Medical Missions in Phum Samboa on August 1998
  • 4. Through Vacation Bible School and extension classes in the surrounding villages the church grew and a property was purchased in Phum Thmey, Sangkat Dangkao on February 1999
  • 5.
    • We started using the property on March 1999 with a little shack built on the side Mr. Somnang and Mr. Chandara took charge in looking after the property.
    • Because we believe in Matt. 6:33, that April 1999, we started building our church building with only $300 but God gave the increase.
  • 6. On October 1999, while floodwaters surrounded Dangkao, we dedicated our church building and some government officials came to witness God’s amazing grace. Some members came by canoe.
  • 7. Dr. Jack Baskin dedicated the building together with Rev. Bruce McKee.
  • 8.
    • Through personal evangelism and home Bible studies our church grew.
    • The little church building was not big enough to house 150 people during its services.
  • 9.
    • Our work does not stop on the building. We are building lives, spiritual lives, that will one day become servants and worshipers of the Lord
    • Young men have given their lives to serve the Lord and teach and preach even with discomforts and persecutions.
  • 10.
    • Some have enrolled in Bible School but most have not, yet they serve the Lord, teach, and preach the Gospel
    • On special days we give our offerings to support the Cambodia Baptist Bible College
  • 11. These are the baptisms of our believers from An Long Kong Village Those who received the Lord have followed in water baptism
  • 12. On July 2003 Bro. Syhok and Bro. Bunthon and two other young men graduated from Cambodia Baptist Bible College.
  • 13. Sister Kim Sry and other ladies have willingly given their lives to serve the Lord with sacrifice and without hesitation.
  • 14.
    • We capitalize our ministry with children and young people
    • They are the hope of this country and they are the hope of the ministry .
  • 15.
    • During Christmastime we emphasize the birth of Christ as a gift from God
    • Salvation is a free gift from God.
  • 16.
    • Christmas last year was blessed, with our church and extensions worshipping together.
    • We testify the true meaning of Christmas.
  • 17.
    • Portraying the birth of Christ. . .”Is there room for Jesus?”
    • Will you open the doors of your heart for Him?
  • 18. We bring the kids from the surrounding villages and reward them for being faithful for a years’ program.
  • 19. Dealings with those who want to get saved were sometimes done under The Tree after the services.
  • 20. We have extended our church building with the state-of-the art baptistry. For the Glory of God!

  • 22. The Word of God is quick and powerful. . . We must preach the Word of God to all people!
  • 23. Praising God in songs. . . . . .and quoting Bible verses is our special time during services
  • 24. Pastor Roy Montero was our special speaker during our 5 th Church Anniversary.
  • 25. Praise God for faithful church members all through these years.
  • 26. Every summer we have vacation Bible school not only in the church but also in the surrounding villages.
  • 27. From Dangkao Bro. Bunthon was sent out. . . . . .to Thnuel Tutueng and Kampong Speu
  • 28. . . .and reporting God’s ministry to the church Now we see Bro. Vutha from Thnuel Tutueng serving the Lord side by side with us. . .
  • 29. Bro. Chumnap teaches English to our juniors in the evenings.
  • 30.
    • The church sent out Bro. Chumnap as our church planter in Snao Village, Kampong Speu
    • The church people gave their prayers and support

    • Preacher Sophal’s Class

    • Preacher Syhok’s Class
    • Preacher Piseth’s Class
  • 33. Our first Sunday of this year 2007.
  • 34. Toul Sambo ministry began in 2002 by Eng Bunthon followed by another preacher. . . and was taken over by Bro. Syhok and now is passed on to Bro. Reaksa.
  • 35. Some ladies were brought home to Toul Sambo.
  • 36. Soulwinnng Conferences. . . . . .have resulted with faith put into action and saved souls and lives changed
  • 37. Soulwinning can influence. . . . . .both young men and young ladies
  • 38. Bro. Thap Piseth was won to the Lord by Bro. Syhok and has now become a promising preacher of the Gospel.
  • 39. The ministry in Phum Russey was carried on by Bro. Piseth. . . . . .under the tamarind tree
  • 40. Last June 4, we opened our own Bible school in Dangkao. We have a maximum of 7 students studying.
  • 41. We thank God for. . . . . .He uses ordinary people
  • 42. After church services we go out to the construction site and beg God to supply the need to construct a 4-story multi-purpose building to facilitate our school and ministries.

  • 46. The harvest truly is plenteous but the laborers are few. Will you join the harvesters? And say, “Lord, here am, use me.”
