Our heritage was built around meeting the payment card industry (PCI) data security standards (DSS)
Examples include ecommerce merchants, payment page companies, processors and fraud protection companies
Layered Tech protects their credit card data/transactions
Layered Tech was the first hosting provider to support the full PCI standard

How has Layered Tech evolved from being a specialist hosting company to handling areas that need rigorous data security? And does that transition into cloud computing?
Cloud Computing is an infrastructure solution to meet customer requirements
By virtualizing in the cloud, it gives the customer more flexibility by becoming more ‘elastic’
Layered Tech has a multi-tenant compliance cloud, which is really a non-public community cloud for PCI clients (examples: groups of banks or health care providers)
Layered Tech puts the same level of security and compliance practices behind the compliance cloud as we do with our physical compliance environments
Example: Layered Tech client, CRE Secure (hosted payment page company), is running on a compliant cloud according to full PCI standards just like in a dedicated environment

Why Go With Layered Tech?
Why would a company that needs specialization go to Layered Tech as opposed to just going to their network provider (AT&T, Verizon, cable companies, etc.)?

Some might offer security tools, but they won’t provide the management
