  • About LeahLeah Schklar is the Manager of Social Media and Interaction atThe National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She is the “face” ofNSCS on social media outlets such as Twitter, Facebook andLinkedIn and manages all of NSCS’ social media endeavors.Leah has turned the NSCS Facebook page into a place formembers to connect with both other members and the nationaloffice and has given a very personal touch. She has helpedchapters develop their chapter pages, encourage their membersto participate in conversations and to use the page as go-toplace for everything from posting pictures to sharing meetingminutes.In March, Leah developed the TalkNerdy2Me blog and throughher position as Chief Editor, she manages partnerships, contentand design.
  • About KristenKristen Abell is the Director for Residential Life atthe University of Missouri-Kansas City and has been instudent affairs for over ten years, give or take, in a varietyof roles. She’s worked primarily in housing and women’scenters at three different universities over that time.Kristen currently serves as the Information TechnologyCoordinator for the IV-West Region of NASPA. She has beenblogging since 2006 on her personal blog – Kristendom –and also has a technology and student affairs blog – Kristendom Talks Tech, in addition to co-founding theStudent Affairs Women Talk Tech collaborative blog. Shehas been serving as an unofficial technology consultant inher student affairs division for over a year, and she is a self-proclaimed geek extraordinaire.
