Clark By the time Lawrence turned 16 years old he was a high-school drop out heavily involved in the 70’s drug culture had attended 13 different schools was a victim of mental and physical abuse was rebellious and had problems with authority was a runaway teen convicted of car theft and had a negative outlook about his future. Lawrence was depressed and unable to cope with life. But… by his late 30’s he had earned several college degrees was a well respected college professor a respected songwriter, poet and author and involved in church and community service volunteering in various social activities and a volunteer youth group leader. Today Lawrence is the father of three beautiful children and married to a wonderful and loving wife. His is a story of trial and error, determination and grit, accomplishment, and success. His is a story that will inspire and motivate those teens who are challenged and at risk.
