The way you look at a glass filled halfway with water can tell more beyond being an optimist or a pessimist.

  • misterjester Melvin Pereira , Project Manager at Home Something to add, the engineer thinks that :

    1. The glass is performing at half the capacity it was designed for.

    2. The glass is designed twice as big as it is required to be used for.

Lol .. one of them is actually from the great einstein !

  • oobi Tamara van Halm , Being at Life When somebody raised the same question I couldn't help saying 'the glas just is' . By interpreting or labeling something as good or bad you leave the magic field of being. Instead of interpreting how we label the glas...we should maybe question why does that emotion arise when 'I' (ego) perceives the glas. Ego likes to differentiate, but when our perception of eachother changes we can let others be. From that new authentic value arises.

    Thanks, I liked it,

  • lawrencefine Lawrence Fine , Self Employed Consultant/Web Designer at Web Breez I'm not going to lie. I made a presentation last week and used this analogy (without the ppt so I had an actual glass of water on the table) and I kept thinking..if it was only wine it would be more interesting lol

    Thanks for your comment

  • arnold01 Arnold Wytenburg , entrepreneur, investor, and business advisor at Nuvisto Inc. Hey Lawrence,

    Nice stuff.

Btw, in my experience what matters is whether you are thirsty, not whether the glass is half full or half empty;-)

    Cheers, Arnold
