Jean Piaget Presentation Jean Piaget Presentation Presentation Transcript

  • Younger Siblings? Young Kids? I’ve got the answers you need
    • Hi, I’m Jean Piaget and I’ve got the answers to your questions
    • Over the years I have studied children’s cognitive development and genetic epistemology
    • I have seen how children’s learnings develop and in what stages
    • And how the mind of the child works
    • Through many experiments I have came to many results
    • I have studied children’s behaviors, even my own from a very young age
    • Being a past teacher myself, I have seen different behaviors
    • I have attended conferences, being chief consultant, in regards to relationship and cognitive development
    • " What the genetic epistemology proposes is discovering the roots of the different varieties of knowledge, since its elementar forms, following to the next levels, including also the scientific knowledge. "
    • After publishing many books of thought and cognitive I came up with a four-step theory on cognitive development
    • This four step theory divides into groups ranging of age
    • This theory describes the behaviors of children under the certain age categories
    • Categories
    • 1 – Sensori-Motor (birth – 2 years)
    • 2 – Pre-operational (2 – 7 years)
    • 3 – Concrete operational (7 – 11 years)
    • 4 – Formal operational (11 years and up)
