    • The effects of the earthquake in Japan!!!
In Japan there was an earthquake and a tsunami. Four reactors of a nuclear power plant were affected and today two of them exploded and the other two caught fire. A lot of the nuclear power plant workers have been spraying water on the core.
In Fukushima there are a lot of radiactive particles and the people aren’t safe. They are going to Tokyo because there they will be safe.
It was reported that there was a serious problem with the third reactor and the number of people exposed to radiation could be 160.
In Japan there are catalan people and they explained the consequences of the catastrophe in the news.
The first news concerning the problems in the nuclear power plant was learned after the earthquake and the tsunami. It was that one of the six reactors had a leak.
Today the people are very scared and very nervous because the nuclear power plant isn’t controlled.
Anggie, Arnau i Miguel and Alejandro
    • Tsunami
The tsunami was approximately to 40km distance where the earthquake happened.
Days later exceeded the 6m of the intensity.
Survivors described the tsunami water as black and said it had been preceded by a sandstorm. The waves left a carpet of mud, which gradually dried in the ensuing days into dust, creating little dust storms that followed the rescue workers looking for the missing.
      Victims
The March 11 earthquake and tsunami left at least 21,000 people dead or missing and thousands homeless.
    • In a devastated landscape of splintered homes, rotting bodies and twisted cars, an elderly man walks with stooped shoulders searching for any object that can bring back memories of his daughter.
"Her home used to be there but that is gone," the man who asked to be called by his family name Kikuchi said, pointing at a spot in the town of Rikuzentakata, leveled by the tsunami of nearly two weeks ago.
"My daughter is missing. She is gone. I was up in the hills above town and couldn't get to her in time," Kikuchi said in a steady voice.
      Survivors
The tsunami took just about everything from those in its path who escaped with just the clothes on their backs, as the wall of water destroyed homes, pictures, keepsakes and all the objects that are touchstones of memories.
People who have spent decades in these northeastern coastal towns now find themselves disoriented when they return because streets have vanished and landmarks disappeared.
    • It seemed too good to be true. A young man pulled alive from the rubble on Saturday eight days after Japan's devastating earthquake and tsunami.

    • Japan
In Japan there was a tsunami, earthquake and a central nuclear exploitation. The national police agency has officially confirmed : 4.314 persons died, 2.282 injured and 8.606 people missing. It's the 4th biggest earthquake.
The tsunami, the earthquake and the nuclear central caused one of the biggest disasters of Japan. The tsunami arrives now to the island of Galapagos. The tsunami maybe arrives to Ecuador, and South America. The earthquake also destroyed many cities in Japan. The earthquake have 8, 9 power in the Richter scale . The Japanese are used to earthquakes, but not used to tsunamis. The nuclear central has four reactors and one of them exploded two times and expanded radiation, the Japanese wear masks because they don´t want the radiation to enter to their bodies.
So, after all of these we have some questions:
We are doing a good use of nuclear energy?
The nuclear energy is good for us or we can use alternative energies?
Are the nuclear centrals safe for the inhabitants?
