  • 5. Why?<br />Relative advantages of young founders:<br />Stamina<br />Poverty<br />Partners (co-founders)<br />Ignorance<br />
  • 6. Stamina<br />Long hours of work<br />Not as efficient as we&apos;ll <br /> be later<br />
  • 7. Poverty<br />You can live cheaply<br />Less independent to outside funding<br />Room to recover from mistakes <br />
  • 8. Partners<br />Scarcest ingredient in startups: co-founders<br />Popular question: “where can I find my co-founder?”<br />Best place to meet them is school. Eg: Google, Yahoo, Youtube and Microsoft <br />
  • 9. Ignorance<br />Believe in things you don’t know about<br />A situation that forces you to take side and make progress<br />When you know nothing, you have to reinvent stuff for yourself<br />
  • 10. Words of wisdom<br /> “All the best things that I did at Apple came from (a) not having money and (b) not having done it before, ever. Every single thing that we came out with that was really great, I&apos;d never once done that thing in my life” – Steve Wozniak<br />

  • 12. Learn how startups work<br />Books and classes are not good sources<br />Learn by watching other startups in action<br />Learn the key lessons and insights that startups share<br />Learn by meeting people who has been there, done that<br />
