Founder and project manager of Gohundred
Head of events and content at Launch
  • 3. 2 choices
    Get a job
Get an MBA / Master Degree
  • 4. 3rd choice
    To start a startup
  • 5. Why?
    Relative advantages of young founders:
    Stamina
    Poverty
    Partners (co-founders)
    Ignorance
  • 6. Stamina
    Long hours of work
    Not as efficient as we'll
    be later
  • 7. Poverty
    You can live cheaply
    Less independent to outside funding
    Room to recover from mistakes
  • 8. Partners
    Scarcest ingredient in startups: co-founders
Popular question: “where can I find my co-founder?”
Best place to meet them is school. Eg: Google, Yahoo, Youtube and Microsoft
  • 9. Ignorance
Believe in things you don’t know about
A situation that forces you to take side and make progress
When you know nothing, you have to reinvent stuff for yourself
  • 10. Words of wisdom
“All the best things that I did at Apple came from (a) not having money and (b) not having done it before, ever. Every single thing that we came out with that was really great, I'd never once done that thing in my life” – Steve Wozniak
