In the past, information (knowledge, data, etc.) was available mainly in physical form and access to it was limited by: cost, geographical constraints, distribution channels, etc. etc. Not to talk about the barriers of language, available time, preliminar knowledge needed, etc. Now with the internet the possibilities of accessing information have been greatly (exponentially?) increased.

How to manage the overwhelming amount of information we have at our disposal now, and the ever increasing yet to come? How to select, interpret, digest information? How to produce information that will be easier to be assimilated?
