China’s e-Commerce market is expected to reach RMB 700 billion in 2011 while continuously booming. As a result, forecasts place China as the biggest e-commerce market in the world by 2013 with an astonishing RMB 1 trillion of online purchases. In the mean time, promotional email is still one of the most favored channels for Chinese online consumers to hear from brands and retailers. But facing the complexity of China’s digital environment, how can brands smartly play with email marketing so as to influence online consumers and promote visibility?
