As simple as that, if you want to write an ebook or teach someone how to do XYZ first make sure you understand and know exactly how to do it yourself. Teach it to yourself FIRST, understand it yourself FIRST only then try to teach it to someone else.

Tip of the day #5 (How to Properly Teach)

  1. 1. Tip of the day #5 (How to Properly Teach)If you can’t explain it to yourself you can explain it to others! As simple as that, if you want to write an ebook or teach someone how to do XYZ first makesure you understand and know exactly how to do it yourself. Teach it to yourself FIRST,understand it yourself FIRST only then try to teach it to someone else. This TIP can help you when you want to create an ebook, if you want to teach somethingyou’re NOT yet familiar with first understand it yourself.Pretty basic idea but it works! That’s also why it’s important to NOT pick a niche you don’t understand. If I where to start abusiness selling golf stuff to golfers it will be very hard because I never played golf, don’tknow why golfers use too many golf swings when there’s only one golf ball, and it’s notmy favourite sport. When picking a niche make sure you have some passion, talents (if you’re good singer somemusic related niches might be good for you), etc, that way it will be easier to convey yourideas and help your customers.Sidenote: When you reach a high level of success (which means your business skills arehighly toned) you can build businesses in niches you know absolutely nothing about –that’s because you’ll then have the necessary skills to manage an entire team and outsourceeverything: from product creation to marketing and selling! Sure these “tiny businesses”won’t be as successful as a business you build around your passion or talent but they cangenerate an extra 1 to 5K a month on complete autopilot!Jack Sarlo
