    • that have been observed
    • by its people for centuries
  • History and culture are created by humans
    • Each person writes his/her own page in the history of mankind.
  • As a young person, you don’t have a long history yet, but you have an important heritage .
    • Heritage (from the word ” inherit ”)
    • pass things from
    • generation
    • to generation.
  • We inherite
    • Names
    • Surnames
    • Appearance
    • Character
    • Stories
    • Languages
    • Some objects
    • Photographs.
  • Do you know the origin of your name and surname?
    • What languages are spoken in your families?
    • What unique family traditions have you got?
    • What photos from your family album are special for you?
    • Are there any links with other cultures?
  • The more we know about our own roots and personal heritage, the bigger is our contribution to the history of mankind.
    • Make your family research
    • Evaluate your family customs and traditions
    • Be tolerant and respectful to the of others
    • Widen your outlook
    • Make a cross-cultural exchange
