  • 3. About YVAN Youth Vision Alliance Network (YVAN) is a youth-led organisation founded in 2009 to provide capacity building platform for young people who will lead innovative approach to sustainable development and demand environmental justice.

  • 5. Climate Change Education under Article 6 of the UNFCCC Article 6 of the United Nation Framework on Climate Change (UNFCCC) stipulates the promotion of education, training and public awareness on climate change.
  • 6. Article 6: Six Areas of focus 1. The development and implementation of educational and public awareness programmes on climate change and its effects 2. Public access to information on climate change and its effects 3. Public participation in addressing climate change and its effects and developing adequate responses. 4. Training of technical, scientific, and managerial personnel. 5. The development and exchange of public awareness material on climate change and its effects 6. The development and implementation of education and training programmes, including the strengthening of national institutions and exchange or secondment of personnel to train experts in this field, in particular for developing countries.
