The Future of Semantic Wikis User Interface Applications having semantic wiki spirit but not called “wiki”: Google Docs, Intranet-aware OpenOffice, Microsoft SharePoint No more wiki text syntax for normal users Alternatives: WYSIWYG M XHTML+RDFa editing, Semantic Forms Knowledge Representation and Reasoning Adequately mapping complex knowledge structures onto page- granular wiki architecture ( deep annotation, refactoring, . . . ?) (So far: page = base unit of editing, versioning, linking, search) more expressive reasoning vs. maintaining consistency (Identified as a challenge years ago, but not too many results yet!)
