SO 2 + H 2 O  H 2 SO 3 </li></ul><ul><li>SO x emissions come mostly from burning coal to make electricity. </li></ul><ul><li>NO x emissions come mostly from automobiles, furnaces, and electrical power plants. </li></ul>
