Nutrient Management Plans • 2009 – Approximately 23% Producers In The Watershed Had A Nutrient Management Plan • Currently 99% Of The Producers In The Watershed Have A Nutrient Management Plan • More Than 90% Of The Cropland (Approximately 41,400 Acres) In The Watershed Is Covered Under A Nutrient Management Plan
  • 3. Nutrient Management Plans 156 Producers Met The Requirement To Submit A Nutrient Management Plan • 154 Nutrient Management Plans Are In The Approval/Review Process • 1 Operation Has Submitted An ODA Permit • ODNR Is Pursing Enforcement Action Against 1 Operation
  • 4. Edge of Field Runoff Monitoring For Water Quality Testing 3 Farms With 2 Stations Per Site
  • 5. Cover Crop Field Days Thousands Of Acres Of Cover Crops Have Been Planted Since 2009 Hundreds Of Acres Of Cover Crops Have Been Planted In The Watershed Since Wheat Harvest In July Some Have Already Been Planted Into Silage Chopped Corn Fields This Past Week Planting Into Spring Killed Cover Crops
