Source: Proton’s Annual Reports PROTON’S PERFORMANCE OVER THE YEARS Wan Nik, Iwabuchi, Hattori Nadzmi Tengku Mahaleel Azlan, Nadzmi, Syed Zainal ECONOMIC CRISIS FINANCIAL CRISIS EXCHANGE CONTROL FINANCIAL CRISIS NEW NAP <ul><li>Production/Sales Volume : Period of 2006 – 2011 vs. Period of 1996 – 2005, remained relatively similar i.e. no improvement despite significant increases in overheads, ~ 2 to 3 fold increases. </li></ul><ul><li>New Products viz. the Saga and Persona were developed towards the latter Period of 1996 – 2005 and were realized in 2006, The Exora were approved and budgeted within the same period. </li></ul><ul><li>Similarly, the Improvements for the CamPro Engine viz. IAFM and CPS were developed within the latter Period of 1996 - 2005 in time for the Saga, Persona and Exora Models. </li></ul><ul><li>Clearly evident that the most Productive Period in Proton’s History was within 1996 – 2005. Numerous New Models Programmes were hatched within this period and realized from 2006 onwards! </li></ul>

Source: Proton’s Annual Reports PROTON’S PERFORMANCE OVER THE YEARS Proton had Produced in excess of 3.6 Million Vehicles (Domestic + Export + CKD Exports + Local Contract Assembly (AMI and AMM) 485,539 Vehicles 13% of Cumulative Total Average ~ 61K/Year 406,997 Vehicles 11% of Cumulative Total Average ~ 136K/Year 1,053,290 Vehicles 29% of Cumulative Total Average ~ 150K/Year 1,655,289 Vehicles 46% of Cumulative Total Average ~ 184K/Year
