Who Voted For CISPA And Broke TheirOathTruther4-27-12Yesterday the House of Representatives voted onand passed CISPA which is in clear violation ofthe constitution and as such those who swore toprotect the consitution but who voted for the billshould be removed from office.CISPA is in violation of the 4th amendmentwhich states the following; “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”The amendment means that probable cause must be outlined along with the exact details ofwhat is to be searched or seized before any such action is taken.CISPA will allow federal agencies to monitor anyone’s online activity as well as share it withothers and without getting a warrant or showing probable cause. Read the bill in full here.Clearly the people who are supposed to represent their constituents have not understood whattheir job is since they have not learnt from their attempt to pass SOPA.Unless the people speak up, then this law and others like them will be passed and our rightswill continue to be under attack from those who are supposed to protect the constitution.Jim Dempsey, vice president for public policy at the Center for Democracy and Technologysaid; “This is about government monitoring. [SOPA] is about the First amendment, [CISPA] is about the Fourth, but they both take a legitimate problem and try to tackle it with an overbroad solution.” Those who voted for CISPA should now be held accountable for not respecting the oath they have taken and below is the list of who voted for and against the bill.
