  • My Daily Routine (LI, FB, Emails, VM, work, twitter, blog, etc.) What do you want to get out of this time together? Elijah and the widow of Zerephath + LinkedIn is best used when you practice the principle of giving before receiving + Remember that principle as we discuss The three principles I use for networking apply for LI – Build it, field it, yield it. Ten Ways to Use LinkedIn (guy kawaski) + The average number of LinkedIn connections for people who work at Google is forty-seven. + The average number for Harvard Business School grads is fifty-eight, so you could skip the MBA, work at Google, and probably get most of the connections you need. Later, you can hire Harvard MBAs to prepare your income taxes. + People with more than twenty connections are thirty-four times more likely to be approached with a job opportunity than people with less than five. + All 500 of the Fortune 500 are represented in LinkedIn. In fact, 499 of them are represented by director-level and above employees. According to my inside sources, the person with the most pending LinkedIn invitations is...Guy Kawasaki. (Though I’m not sure if I should be proud or ashamed of this factoid.)
