    1. Title : Are young children in secondary school like to learn independently and interact with computers or to learn from teachers ? Research question : There are many learning pedagogies and many software development for e-learning. The environment is changing. Computer, internet and many digital devices have changed the habits on how we deal and interact with people and the ways we live is changing. Study participants: The focus is at lower secondary children and the subject understudied is mathematics. The understudied groups are from 6 secondary schools in Hong Kong
      • This topic is important.
      • The reasons are:
      • Determine the teaching methods, classroom arrangement and syllabus arrangement of the schools.
      • The investment of the govnement on child-centered facilities: more personal pc, more internet based programmes designed, more personal devices to be purchased such as PDA,etc. or more teacher-centered items such as projectors, small groups activities devices, and etc.
      • Guidelines for content developers and publishers
      • More schools activites and assessment methods to be designed. Such as: percentage in deviding the assessment-group project 20%, personal assessment 80% and etc.
    2. How to collect the data? And how to analyse the collected data?
      • Interview
      • Data collection in looking at the percentage of students in joining the different activities- Group based assessment/activities or personal based assessment/activities
