  • 3. Do’s
    • Ethics are important when blogging. There are issues about if it is ok for anonymous users to use false identities for privacy.
    • The first amendment rights about freedom of expression allows bloggers to exercise fair comment .
  • 4. Don’ts
    • You should never plagiarize someone else's work
    • You may disagree with what someone posts, but do not engage in flame wars.
    • Think about consequence when blogging. You can get into trouble if you allow it.
  • 5. Do’s
    • Respond to comments; readers took time out to respond to your posts
    • Be mindful of what you post; don’t offend readers with your blog content
  • 6. Don’ts
    • Don’t publish material that someone may consider defamatory.
    • Don’t republish copyrighted information that is not your own.
  • 7. Summary
    • Ethics are important when blogging
    • Bloggers are allowed to exercise fair comment because of their first amendment rights.
    • Plagiarizing is never acceptable use of blogging.
    • Consequence will follow if you misuse your blog.
