  • 1. GovCloud Network, LLC helps its clients develop and execute mission and business strategies to leverage the parallel and global nature of cloud-based services. We employ our technology, strategy, digital publishing and social media expertise across three lines of business: Business Strategy & Design We view cloud computing as an enabler of parallel operational processes that can deliver enhanced mission capabilities. These processes are employed to build and manage global virtual communities that strengthen relationships, build interactions and drive mission success. Our experience includes: NCOIC/NGA Geospatial Community Cloud - A Network Centric Operations Industry Consortium project for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency to develop and test a Geospatial Community Cloud (GCC) concept for humanitarian assistance and emergency response. The solution showed interoperability and movement of data in an open, cloud-based infrastructure. The demonstration in September for the NGA depicted how cloud-based services could be used in a global, multidisciplinary response similar to the one that took place after the 2010 Haitian earthquake. (https://www.ncoic.org/events/geospatial_cloud_concept_demonstration/) NATO IT Modernization Study - As part of a Network Centric Operations Industry Consortium (NCOIC) study team, supported the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) in developing cost effective options for modernizing NATO's information technology infrastructure. The goal was to examine the alliance’s information technology infrastructure, how it could be modernized, where efficiencies could be gained and how to make the business case for modernization. (https://www.ncoic.org/events/geospatial_cloud_concept_demonstration/) US Intelligence Community Common Operating Environment (IC-COE) - Project Manager for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) component of the QUAD Common Operating Environment, the prototype for the Intelligence Community - Common Operating Environment (IC-COE). IC-COE is a secure, seamless, and agile networked environment for information sharing across multiple agency domains. The IC-COE allows for one location login with access to all application accounts. As of October 2013, there were 25 virtual mission and productivity apps available via the COE desktop with 250 users from five IC agencies. Plans are in place to also extend the network to law enforcement agencies. (http://www.forbes.com/sites/kevinjackson/2011/04/04/dia-cio- grant-schneider-highlights-cloud-computing/)
