  • 5. Why Should Local Providers Refer Patients to Telemedicine?o Limited specialists availableo To be more involved in patient care (can attend appointments with the patient)o For second opinions on conditionso For the safety of patients that have difficulty traveling

How to Reach Target Audiences?• Community based marketing can provide the opportunity to educate and inform the many people and organizations that will come in contact with your telemedicine program• Direct marketing to providers can assure that your telemedicine program is positively received by general practitioners and other specialists to receive adoption in target communities
