2. 2. Hardware

Hardware is the physical components within a computer system .Organizations uses multiple computer system ranging from mainframe to micro computers

All the categories of computers are similarly organized the central processor

The central processor carries out (“executes”) the instructions of a program, translated in to a simple form

Memories in these computer system where database are stored

Devices for entering input for example key board,mouse0 and producing output (say, a printer and a monitor) complete the systems

 3. 3. Software

Software is set of instructions ,written in a specialized language, the execution of which controls the operation of the computer.

Computer software falls into two categories

1.System software 2. Application Software

1.Sytem software manages the resources of the computer system and simplifies programming.

They direct the interaction of human with hardware ,software and data base.

In other words , procedures are the policies and methods to be followed in using , operating and maintaing an information systems
