  • 4. Expander jaw shown unclamped and partially loaded • To use the expander you must use the Hydra 5ST jaw with the pistons down close to the bed of the vise. To do this use the Expander adapter jaw to mount to the movable then you can mount the Hydra-5ST to the adapter jaw.
  • 5. Expander jaw shown unclamped and partially loaded The Expander jaw will clamp the ID of the part when the piston from the Hydra-5ST jaw contacts the contact post on the bottom Expander jaw to open the top of the Expander fixture. Clamped Position Unclamped Position
