    • Wherever you listen you learn something

    • If we are being educated merely to achieve distinction, to get a better job, to be more efficient, to have wider domination over others, then our lives will be shallow and empty- J.Krishnamurthy
    • The interest of the students is proportionate to the true capacity of the teacher- Mother
  • 4. Learning Vs feeling technology
    • Not only learn to teach but also love to teach
    • We need to be a sensitive, humane person when dealing with others (especially children)
    • Not only competent, knowledgeable but also with care,
    • Concern
    • Acceptance
    • Respect
    • Empathy
  • 5. What problem?
    • Learning is not a mechanical process but a human process
    • We differ in our ability to establish a relationship, friendliness, trust and emotional maturity.
    • Our ‘self’ have profound effect upon the lives of others
    • Emotional mature person engage productive teaching.
  • 6. Why ineffective ?
    • Lack of training, practice
    • Preoccupation with everyday problem
    • High emotionality
    • Lack of interest, motivation
    • Low stress tolerance
    • Limited self-awareness
    • Work overload
    • Illness
  • 7. Negative impact of teaching process

    • Attribution error
    • Our tendency to blame external things, other person for our problem.
  • 9. 2. Irrational beliefs
    • The nature and quality of our belief system play an important role
    • I’m failure
    • Don’t ask question just obey my order
  • 10. 3. Self –fulfilling prophecy
    • The tendency of our expectancy causing others to perform better or worse depending on our estimation of others potential.
  • 11. 4. Stereotype thinking
    • A broad overgeneralization that ignores the diversity with in the others and foster inaccurate perception.
    • Example:
    • The relative ability of male and female in a particular task
  • 12. 5. Insensitivity to feedback
    • We tend to be insensitivity to feedback if it is goes against our self-concept.
  • 13. Positive impact of teaching process
  • 14. 1. Empathetic understanding
    • View the world through other persons eye
    • Other persons aspect not rejected but actively sought and appreciated.
  • 15. 2. Warm and deep relationships
    • Satisfying others basic need for relatedness (love) and respect (self-worth).
  • 16. 3. prizing, acceptance and trust
    • Accept, respect others regardless of their behaviour. When we trust others we have positive feeling towards them, which gives the a sense of security.
  • 17. 4. Aware of our own values and beliefs
    • For healthy wholesome adjustment one must constantly be evaluating experience to see whether they require a change in the value structure.
    • We often fail to determine which values are most important to us.
  • 18. Finally…
    • Others need more from us that we can do
    • Learning technology alone not enough to make a good teacher, there is a need to pay more attention to feeling technology in our teaching.
  • 19. Conclusion
    • All of us have certain areas of our personality, which call for reform and enrichment. if we pay more attention to feeling technology, we will greatly improve our level of functioning.
