  • Techniques
    • Thriller trailers tend to start off slow so that we get a basic idea of what the storyline is. The trailer then speeds up show numerous shots to create tension and only show us a few clips so that we anticipate more.
    • The music is a little quiet and some have nursery rhymes as they tend to be more effective.
    • The trailer shows the film to be quite normal to start off with.
    • The actors tend to be well known and some of the actors who plays the villain have been used before in other thrillers.
    • The heart beat is used quite a lot to create the atmosphere.
    • Transitions such as fade in and out of black, fade and flash are used a lot and most of the time the flash is used to be like lightning.
