  26. SYSTEMS FOR RECOGNITION AND TRANSLATION OF NATURAL LANGUAGE “ABBYY INFOPOISK” LLC Project is aimed at development of the fundamental linguistic system of text analysis. The following systems will be based on it: automatic machine translation of a new generation, fact search and analysis in large text arrays (smart search), document comparison systems. Basing upon the results of this project we expect the emergence of brand new systems for document classification and annotation, improved speech recognition systems and systems protecting information against unauthorized access. The research project will have many indirect results, which will be commercialized in Skolkovo as independent spin-off companies, with the involvement of venture capital investments; The developed algorithms will be used in Skolkovo to create a unique tool for patent search, in order to determine the international novelty and patent opportunities in various fields of science. REAL TIME TEXT VISUALIZATION “BAZELEVS INNOVATSIYI” LLC The Project will develop software products in the following areas: computer and 3D graphics for TV and film production, animation and graphics for computer models and applications. The project involves research, development and implementation of a software complex to implement a interactive three- dimensional text visualization technology, which is an essential component of film, television and theatrical production throughout the world. This will address the creative and technical problems at an early stage of creation of audio-visual products, reduce the gap between the script and visual production, time and cost of film production through interactivity, automatic text analysis and construction of the required three-dimensional image. 1. Cloud computing 3D rendering “KlaudMak” LLC The Project is aimed at development of the technology, which combines server rendering and HTML, as distinct from other solutions that require additional software at the clients end. The benefit this solution provides is resource efficiency, saving processing power and traffic. Some examples of its use may are a virtual test-drive in a new car or the close examination of any object. A potential customer will have no need to go to a store and stand in line, he will just go to the site and examine the object from his home or from a cafe, in a comfortable chair with an iPad in his hand. In addition, "Klaudmak" is a way to create interactive programs for learning physics, geography and astronomy. Children will learn new things and communicate with each other in a virtual 3D world, as characters from Smeshariki animated series or historical figures. IT Cluster03.08.2011 Skolkovo Foundation 28

RUSSIAN QUANTUM CENTER FOR QUANTUM OPTICS AND TECHNOLOGIES “MCKT” LLC The Center will conduct scientific research that may well result in a fundamentally new class of technologies in the near future. Completely secure communication channels, new materials with exceptional properties, optical submicron transistors and high-frequency optical electronics, new systems for studying the brain, compact and accurate clocks for navigation systems, radically new ultra-fast computing systems and many other things are among the potential results of these studies. The Center plans to unite about 10 research groups under one roof; they will work in the field of quantum technology, in close cooperation with foreign partners. Examples:  A quantum computer with performance million times superior to todays computers;  No-loss electrical networks;  Fully secure communications networks;  Materials with predetermined physical and chemical properties;  Alternative energy sources;  Fundamentally new medical and biotechnologies.   30. MACROS SOLUTIONS “Datadvance” LLC Project aims at development of the MACROS software complex for predictive modeling, based on data and multidisciplinary optimization. The MACROS is primarily intended to automate the design of the complex engineering products, i.e. in aerospace and automotive industries.   31. CREATING A SERVICE FOR VISUAL IMAGE SEARCH IN INTERNET “KUZNECH” LLC The Innovation project of Kuznetch Ltd. is to establish a system for searching similar images on the Internet. The company is the author of the technology of searching for vast amounts of unstructured images, using the methods of statistical approximation. At the moment this service is not represented in any of the segments of the market, it also does not appear on the Internet. The search technology, created in this Project, uses the specified image as a template and opens up a tremendous potential for wide consumer market – search and selection of goods in e-commerce, creative activity, education, etc. Demand for service exists on b2b and b2c markets. INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH CENTER FOR CLOUD COMPUTING AND SERVICES BY PARALLELS - PARALLELS RESEARCH “Parallels Research” LLC An innovative product developed under this project integrates virtualization, automation, data storage and computer networks technologies into a complex system which enables creation of effective highly-scalable private and public clouds, dramatically minimizing the costs compared to existing technologies.
