Interesting Facts Giraffes are usually 16 feet tall. The pattern of spots on every giraffe is unique. Giraffes live in Africa but they are only found in certainparts of the continent. Groups of Giraffes are called herds. Adult male giraffes are called bulls, adult femalegiraffes are called cows.
  • 3. Why giraffes are endangered Hunting also caused giraffes numbers to take a dive. For years, local hunters shot the animals for food.
  • 4. Let’s classify our animal A giraffe is a vertebrate. A giraffe is also a mammal. A giraffe is called a tower when it is a group.
