  • Target Group
    • First year students
    • IU.
    • Little or no experience of using this site.
  • Methodology Selecting Users Test Setup Usability Test Data Analysis Results Data Evaluation Recommendation
  • Evaluation
    • Task Completion Rate (TCR)
    • TCR = [100-(n/3)100] % ; where n is number of assists.
    • Task Efficiency Value (EV) EV = TCR / time(t)

  • Results
  • Usability problems
    • Unclear path. User not able to decide where to go.
    • 2 different methods to add money confused users.
    • Inconsistency in the usage of bold and non bold types. Conflicts the user mental model.
    • No visual indication to indicate visited links.
    • Absence of search feature.
    • Inconsistency in the webpage layout across the site.
    • Difficulty in spotting the main navigation and getting to it.
  • Recommendations
    • Have only one place to load money on card.
    • Use bold fonts to differentiate between headers and other information.
    • Have proper visual indication for the visited links.
    • Add a search functionality on the site.
    • Redesign all pages in one layout and keep it consistent throughout.
    • Add a text based navigation (breadcrumb) at the bottom of page to help user navigate easily.
