St. Louis Science Center:</li></ul> Engineering Career Day<br /> Young Inventor’s Day<br /><ul><li>YWCA Head Start</li></li></ul><li>Community Service<br />Easter Seals is an amazing organization that provides services to children and adults with disabilities and other special needs; and support to their families. <br /> <br />Innoventor is one of Easter Seals Missouri’s leading single-contributors in the organizations 82 year history.  <br />The “Innoventor Idea People” along with their sponsors have been able to raise a total contribution of over $278,000 to date.<br />Innoventor and Friends continue to make a difference in the lives of many adults and children!<br />
  9. 9. Community Service<br />St. Joseph’s Institute for the Deaf, a United Way agency, helping unlock language for children with hearing impairments. It is a private school for children with hearing disabilities (up to grade 8) located in Chesterfield, MO.<br />The Innoventor Team reached out and touched the St. Joseph Institute of the Deaf. <br /> In excess of 40 Innoventor employees, family members and friends, volunteered <br /> for a day of painting and landscaping. Innoventor not only completed all of the requested volunteer tasks, but went the extra mile to paint an additional stairway/hallway and re-mulch the school’s playground<br />

Community Service<br />  St. Louis Area Food Bank, a United Way agency, is the region&apos;s premier resource that gathers and distributes more than 13.4 million pounds of food each year to 500+ food pantries, homeless shelters, soup kitchens and emergency feeding programs. ·<br /> The agency helps the elderly, single-parent families and the working poor.<br /> Innoventor supported the United Way by showing up at the St. Louis Area Food Bank in Earth City. The warehouse was full of Innoventor volunteers sorting, loading and boxing food items; making a difference!<br />

Community Service<br />The St. Louis FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition challenges teams of high school students and their mentors to solve a common problem. It is a unique varsity sport of the mind designed to help high-school-aged young peoplediscover how interesting and rewarding the life of engineers and researchers can be. <br />Innoventor has supported the St. Louis FIRST Competition for the past two years and will continue to play an integral role in future FIRST events, as FIRST has selected the City of St. Louis and the Edward Jones Dome as the Site of Annual Robotics Championship from 2011 through 2013. <br />·  <br /> <br />

  13. 13. Community Service<br /> St. Augustine’s Christmas Food Drive. For the past 37 years, St Augustine Church, has prepared and distributed thousands of food baskets to the neediest families in the area during the Christmas season.In 2007 Tom Moresi, long-time friend of Innoventor, was asked to gather 3,000 boxes of cereal, which were needed a week before Thanksgiving. He came to Innoventor for help!<br />
  14. 14. Community Service<br />St. Augustine’s Christmas Food Drive<br />In 2007 was Innoventor’s first time to make a difference in this event and we set a goal to collect 500 boxes of cereal. We collected over 606instead! <br />Christmas 2008, we contributed 1,700 boxes of cereal! <br />Christmas 2009, Innoventor collected 2,535 boxes of cereal! <br />

Community Service<br />The Saint Louis Science Center is a science museum and the Association of Science and Technology Centers has rated the Saint Louis Science Center as one of the top 5 science centers in the nation. It is among the largest of its type and, like all science centers, is intended to be a place of informal science education for all ages.<br />Innoventor supports and sponsors many of the St. Louis Science Center programs.<br />Young Innoventor’s Day is an event targeted toward children of all ages and is held to inspire them to bring their ideas to life.<br />

Community Service<br />Innoventor supports the St. Louis Science Center <br />Engineering Career Day, whichis all about getting kids and teens interested in pursuing Engineering as a career through exciting engineering activities, cool engineering exhibitors and demonstrations.<br /> <br />Innoventor was a sponsor of SciFest 09 and an exhibitor at the SciFest 08 extravaganza.<br />

Community Service<br />The YWCA St. Louis Head Start provides 2,650 preschoolers from income-eligible families in St. Louis City and County the educational and social tools they need to prepare for kindergarten and elementary school success. <br />Innoventor had 4 hours, 19,000 square feet, and a dynamic team.  <br />We were able to put a wall of shelves up, assemble metal, tractable shelves, organize and sort warehouse boxes, prepare artwork for an upcoming YWCA auction, sort and prepare “millions” of Christmas stockings, clean and pick up trash on the parking lot, and cut down overgrown tree branches/shrubs!<br />
