    • Texting Activity Sheet Get into a group of 3  Assign the roles of reporter and recorder  On Texting Activity Sheet recorder has to record group answers to the following 3 questions in the appropriate location  What are the positives of texting?  What are the negatives of texting?  What do you need to be careful about when speaking to someone in written word rather than orally?(record in “put it into writing” section) 10minutes to complete Share your two most important points for each on a class chart

    • Jigsaw Activity Get into a group of 5 and get a slip In your home group read the statement, the true story and the questions In your home group come up with agreed upon answers to the questions In your home groups alphabetize yourselves as either a, b, c, d or e Get into your new groups and share the statement and answers to the questions
    • Create a Poster With a partner create a poster aimed at younger students to teach them responsible texting Things to include:  Rules  Do’s and Don’ts  Positives and negatives  Humorous  Attractive
    • Exit slip Fill out the exit slip before leaving class
