    2. The Arch of Constantine was built to commemorate Constantine’s victory over Maxentius at the battle of Milvian Bridge in 312 AD. The Arch of Constantine
    3. This specific arch is 23 meters high and 25 meters wide. Originally, there was a flight of stairs that led to the central archway. it was replaced with a road in the 4th century. The Arch of Septimus Severus
    4. The Arch of Titus is the oldest surviving example of roman arch. This arch is 15 meters high and is located at the Forum Romanum. The Arch of Titus
    5. The Basilica of Maxentius was the last of the great civilian basilicas on the Roman Forum. Basilica of Maxentius
    6. Baths of Carcalla was the second largest baths complex in ancient Rome. It was built between 212 and 219 A.D. by the emperor Marcus Aurelius Antoninus(a.k.a. Caracalla). Baths of Carcalla
    7. Circus Maximus was the largest of ancient Rome’s sporting stadiums. Some people said it was able to hold 250,000 spectators. It was also originially built out of wood in 329 BC. Circus Maximus

    16. The Appian way is the oldest and most famous road built by the ancient Romans. It was built in 312 BC by the Roman censor Appius Claudius Caecus. The road went south from the Servian Wall in Rome to Capua. It passed through Appii Forum and Terracina, and later on was extnede so that it reached Brundisium, now called Brindisi.     17. The Via Sacra or Sacred Way is the main street and the widest street in the Forum. In the fifth century B.C., the road was supported by a substructure to protect it from the rain. Later it was paved and during the reign of Nero it was lined with colonnades. Via Sacra
