  5. 5. Group Participation<br />Group participation is a skill that can be mastered at an early age when the opportunity is given to refine this ability.<br />
  6. 6. Frequent interaction and feedback<br />Technology allows for this goal to be met by allowing the educator to see progress that is being made instantaneously.<br />
  7. 7. Providing access to real-world experts<br />Access to technology allows the user to learn from those outside of the classroom.<br />Virtual field trips provide an excellent outlet for students wanting to learn about places or information that may be physically out of their reach.<br />
  8. 8. Advantages of technology in the elementary classroom<br />Classrooms and the world are not paper and pencil anymore.<br />
  9. 9. Moderation<br />Students need to be moderated due to the fact that they can be distracted from their work.<br />Teachers need to make sure that students are well rounded in their education.<br />

Integrating technology into the elementary classroom<br />As you can see technology plays an important role in the classroom.<br />Active engagement, group participation, frequent interaction and feedback, and access to real-world experts allows the students to be successful in school.<br />Rules and guidelines must be established before the tools and resources can be accessed.<br />
