    • 2. Aborigines are the first people in Australia. They have dark skin because of the sun.
    • 3. Most of the food they get is from bushes. They get sweet berries and all sorts of food in them.
    • 4. Adults pick seed pods from Wakalpuka bushes, which isa kind of wattle. When they get back home, they grind them into flour to make bread.
    • 5. Aborigine people go on trips to look for bush food, which they call bush tucker. They find many sweet fruit.
    • 6. People suck the nectar from honey grevilla flowers just like the birds do.
    • 7. Animals that live underground are also delicious to eat.Children digs for witchetty grubs, which live inside the root of bushes.
    • 8. When old people were young they could find all the food in the bushes. There were noshops and supermarkets then so all of the things they used, like spears and dishes, they made themselves.
