  • You don’t have to tweet to get value from Twitter – you have access to the voices and information surrounding what interests you.Some people never tweet, they simply use Twitter as a way to get the latest information on their interests.
  • 75 million Twitter users worldwide. Compared to Facebook’s staggering 600 million users, this might seem like a small number but Twitter’s ability to quickly disseminate information and activate participation makes its relatively small user base powerful.140 million tweets – a “mind-blowing volume of communication.”7% of Americans on Twitter -- compared to Facebook&apos;s adoption rate of 50% in the US, Twitter is still in mainstream adoption infancy. But with 460,00 new accounts being added daily and 182% spike in mobile users in 2010, Twitter continues to grow
