Organisation of props locations and actors

  1. 1. For our main performer we have asked a talented dancer named Sean Mcnicohlas. As our chosen song is OMG by Usher Sean will fit perfectly because he is inspired by Artists videos such as Usher and Ne-yo. As our video is performance based only it is essential that our performer is able to perform the dance moves to a high standard and we are confident Sean will deliver. Sean attends a dance acadamy and is always one of the main performers when doing a show.
  2. 2. Rebecca will perform the role of Sean’s love interest. The song OMG is about the singer talking about how much he loves a female, therefore we thought it would be necessary to include a female in our video. Rebecca also goes to dance school and is attractive which will fit in with typical R&B music videos. Props we are thinking of using is an old fashioned microphone similar to the one in the picture of Sean above and a chair. We will be using the microphone from our college and a chair from the Showroom.
  3. 3. We have arranged to do some of our filming in a bar named the Showroom. As we are using our college studio a lot of the time on a black and white background we thought it would be ideal to add a little color to our video but using a different location. The Showroom will be a great place to use as the dance floor lights up with a range of colors. Within the lyrics of our chosen song Usher says ‘I fell in love with shorty, when I seen her on the dance floor’ we though a club setting with a dance floor would fit perfectly with our chosen song and genre. We have permission from the owner to use the Showroom on Wednesday 20th October.
