  • 1. How to Use Jing.com
  • 2. Open your browser.
  • 3. Then, type www.jing.com
  • 4. Click ‘Free Download’ to download Jing.
  • 5. Then click either Windows or Mac.
  • 6. Click Save File.
  • 7. Wait until downloading is finished.
  • 8. Then, click this twice.
  • 9. Click Run.
  • 10. Click on OK.
  • 11. Click box saying you have read and accept license terms.
  • 12. Then, click on Install.
  • 13. Wait for a few minutes for the installation..
  • 14. Click Finish.
  • 15. Click OK.
  • 16. Click Run.
  • 17. Click on the box.
  • 18. Click Install.
  • 19. Click Finish.
  • 20. Tada! Here it is! 
  • 21. To sign up, type your email.
  • 22. Type the name you want to be displayed.
  • 23. Typeyour password. Type password.
  • 24. Select what country downfrom. you are to Click arrow choose country.
  • 25. Then, click Create. You may click the box.

  • 27. See the half round object on top of the desktop?
  • 28. That is Jing.

  • 36. How to capture an image in Jing
  • 37. Go to the page where you are taking an image.
  • 38. Mouse-over the sun and three little rays appear.
  • 39. Click Capture.
  • 40. When the cross hairs appear, left click the mouse.
  • 41. And drag to a certain point.
  • 42. Right click the mouse to cancel selecting a region.
  • 43. Decide if you want to capture an image or video.
  • 44. For this first capture, click the Image button
  • 45. Write the description of the picture here.
  • 46. You could save the capture to your computer.
  • 47. Do something with your finished capture.
  • 48. To write an arrow, click on the arrow.
  • 49. Click your mouse and drag to draw an arrow.
  • 50. To insert text, click on the T icon.
  • 51. Again click mouse and drag to make a box.

  • 148. You can narrate while taking the video.
  • 149. Videos are limited to 5 minutes in length.
  • 150. Go to where you would like to take a video.

  • 152. Click on the Capture icon.
  • 153. Select your entire desktop, window, or custom area.
  • 154. Click the Capture Video button.
  • 155. Jing will ask which audio device you'd like to use.
  • 156. For example, many laptops have a built-in internal microphone.
  • 157. There is a 3-second countdown before you're on!
  • 158. Yellow filmstrip-like bands start scrolling to indicate recording’s progress.

  • 289. Click Preferences.
  • 290. Click Customize Jing Buttons.
  • 291. Click New.
  • 292. Scroll to the right to find the save icon.

  • 294. Give the button a description.
  • 295. For example, write "Save to Desktop".
  • 296. To save to a specific location, click the drop down…
  • 297. and select Other... instead of Always prompt me.
  • 298. When you're in the right location, Select and click OK.
  • 299. Click Save.
  • 300. Then click Finish.
  • 301. To close or quit Jing:
  • 302. Click More.
  • 303. Click Exit Jing icon.
  • 304. Click here if you want to exit Jing.
