Krishna Continues..
Kubja replied that she was a maidservant of Kamsa
She was captivated by the “dark boy”
Started smearing the Lords’ bodies with satisfaction and devotion
Krishna wanted to reward her for her service
What did he do?
Krishna pressed the feet of hers with his toes and jerked her up with his 2 fingers while holding the cheeks.
Immediately, she transformed into a beautiful damsel.
Who is this hunchback-turned-damsel anyway?
Signifies the return of Justice
Kubja Proposes..
She was so happy that she invited Him to her home
Krishna felt shy, smiled and spoke nice pleasing words to her to satisfy her senses
Krishna was NOT lusty
Devotional Lust?
Everything should be directed towards Krishna
Krishna left …
Krishna passed by the market place and women were almost fainting captivated by his beauty
The mercantile men worshipped both brothers
Krishna enquired on where the place of sacrifice was
The Lord enters…
Kamsa arranged for Dhanur Yajna
Krishna saw the huge bow resembling a rainbow
Krishna was warned not to enter
Breaking of the Bow…
Krishna brushed aside all the guards
He took the bow in his left hand and stringed it.
After stringing he broke it into two!
A thundering crack was heard and Kamsa got frightened
The caretaker and Kamsa sent men to kill Krishna but it was of no use as they got beaten by the broken bow wielded by Krishna and Balarama
The brothers left the Arena..
Krishna and Balarama left the area and went back to their camp
Visited places in Mathura with great delight and everyone were so blissful seeing Them
They strolled carefree not worrying about Kamsa.
Bad Omens…
Kamsa became worried hearing the news of the killing of his men and the breaking of the bow.
Kamsa started having bad omens while awake and also while asleep.
Some signs while awake…
No reflection of the head
Hole in the shadow
Trees were seen in golden hue
He couldn’t see his own footsteps
Embraced by ghosts
Riding a donkey
Drinking Poison
COULD NOT SLEEP
Arrangement of the Wrestling Arena…
Kamsa arranged for the wrestling arena.
Platform was decorated wonderfully
Even though sitting on a high throne, his heart was beating very fast in fear of death.
