      • Krishna enters Mathura
      • Washerman was killed
      • Sudama the florist presented garlands to Krishna and Balarama and they blessed him.
    3. Continuing…
      • Krishna and Balaram left the florist
      • Met a hunchbacked woman who was Kamsa’s servant
      • She was carrying a dish of sandalwood pulp
      • Krishna joked
      • Asked to offer Him the sandalwood
      • Why should she?
      • yat karosi yad asnasi yaj juhosi dadasi yat yat tapasyasi kaunteya tat kurusva mad-arpanam
      • Translation
      • “ Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer or give away, and whatever austerities you perform—do that, O son of Kunti, as an offering to Me.”
      • Gita 9.27 
      • kayena vaca manasendriyair va buddhyatmana vanusrta-svabhavat karoti yad yat sakalam parasmai narayanayeti samarpayet tat
      • In accordance with the particular nature one has acquired in conditioned life, whatever one does with body, words, mind, senses, intelligence or purified consciousness one should offer to the Supreme, thinking, "This is for the pleasure of Lord Narayana." --SB 11.2.36
    4. Krishna Continues..
      • Kubja replied that she was a maidservant of Kamsa
      • She was captivated by the “dark boy”
      • Started smearing the Lords’ bodies with satisfaction and devotion
      • Krishna wanted to reward her for her service
      • What did he do?
      • Krishna pressed the feet of hers with his toes and jerked her up with his 2 fingers while holding the cheeks.
      • Immediately, she transformed into a beautiful damsel.
      • Who is this hunchback-turned-damsel anyway?
      • Signifies the return of Justice
    5. Kubja Proposes..
      • She was so happy that she invited Him to her home
      • Krishna felt shy, smiled and spoke nice pleasing words to her to satisfy her senses
      • Krishna was NOT lusty
      • Devotional Lust?
      • Everything should be directed towards Krishna
    6. Krishna left …
      • Krishna passed by the market place and women were almost fainting captivated by his beauty
      • The mercantile men worshipped both brothers
      • Krishna enquired on where the place of sacrifice was
    7. The Lord enters…
      • Kamsa arranged for Dhanur Yajna
      • Krishna saw the huge bow resembling a rainbow
      • Krishna was warned not to enter
    8. Breaking of the Bow…
      • Krishna brushed aside all the guards
      • He took the bow in his left hand and stringed it.
      • After stringing he broke it into two!
      • A thundering crack was heard and Kamsa got frightened
      • The caretaker and Kamsa sent men to kill Krishna but it was of no use as they got beaten by the broken bow wielded by Krishna and Balarama
    9. The brothers left the Arena..
      • Krishna and Balarama left the area and went back to their camp
      • Visited places in Mathura with great delight and everyone were so blissful seeing Them
      • They strolled carefree not worrying about Kamsa.
    10. Bad Omens…
      • Kamsa became worried hearing the news of the killing of his men and the breaking of the bow.
      • Kamsa started having bad omens while awake and also while asleep.
    11. Some signs while awake…
      • No reflection of the head
      • Hole in the shadow
      • Trees were seen in golden hue
      • He couldn’t see his own footsteps
      • Embraced by ghosts
      • Riding a donkey
      • Drinking Poison
      • COULD NOT SLEEP
    12. Arrangement of the Wrestling Arena…
      • Kamsa arranged for the wrestling arena.
      • Platform was decorated wonderfully
      • Even though sitting on a high throne, his heart was beating very fast in fear of death.
    13. Enter the Wrestlers….
      • Famous wrestlers like Canura, Mustika, Sala, Kuta etc arrived
      • Nanda Maharaja and the respectable cowherd men from Vraja also arrived
      • They gave gifts and sat on their respective chairs near the King
