Group Leader: If you have one or more years
experience as a delegate, help lead the small group
discussion. Please make sure everyone is heard!
First Item of Business:
Hear Everyone at your table
Address concerns --- write a NBI, Legislative
Item or Resolution …. Or beef up what’s on the
books
43. Create NBI’s and Resolutions
• 1. Go around the table and discuss concerns. Once
everyone has had the opportunity to present their
issues to the committee, look in notebook to see if
there is an NBI, Resolution or Legislative Item to
address concern
• 2. If none: write NBI, Resolution or Legislative
Item to present to PARSA (writing is best done in
very small group) while other members continue to
look at existing NBIs

When the committees are ready to
present their NBI’s and resolutions,
we’ll practice parliamentary procedure.
