  • Hi everyone, thank you for joining us today. I am Sarah Chambers and currently work as a Program Manager for one of today ’ s sponsors, RCMS Group. We would like to thank you all for logging on for today ’ s BIM Roundtable Webinar. We had a record response with over 120 companies and 1300 attendees registered for today ’ s discussion – this speaks to the overwhelming interest the marketplace has in BIM, and I think it is clear that everyone is still actively seeking more information about how BIM can be used on projects and how to derive the benefits and value from doing so. I would like to begin this afternoon by introducing the sponsors of today ’ s event. RCMS Group is a trusted partner to the building design and construction community, providing BIM services and analytics to architects, engineers, general contractors, construction managers, building product manufacturers and owners. Reed Construction Data is the top provider of the country ’ s national, regional and local project leads. Our idea in putting together today ’ s roundtable discussion was prompted by the shift we have seen in the industry and the services we here at RCMS have been providing to our clientele. I work with a mix of architects, engineers and GC ’ s to provide building information modeling services. On a daily basis, we receive numerous inquiries about our BIM services. And even with the increase in BIM utilization and implementation, there is still a lot of confusion around who is doing what with BIM in the marketplace. My goal for today ’ s discussion was to bring together leaders in the AEC industry and have them present their objective and unique viewpoints regarding their real-world application of BIM and the competitive edge they are receiving in this challenging economy. <CLICK TO NEXT SLIDE>
