Zen Stories for Management students - Presentation Transcript

    1. Emptiness-Zen Way of Thinking for Management Students Presentation by Prof.K.Prabhakar prabhakar.krishnamurthy@gmail.com
    2. What is empty and what is fullness?
    3. Clarity of Thought It is said that the human mind is like  water; when it is clear, it reflects every detail, but once it is disturbed, heaven and earth switch places. There are three paths to insights. The first is called insight into the emptiness of the person. This means realizing that there is no birth, no self, and no person.
    4. Emptiness of Phenomena The second insight is called insight  into the emptiness of phenomena. This means realizing that the elements are conditional, temporary, and not actually real.
    5. Third Insight The third insight is called insight into  the emptiness of emptiness. This means realizing cognition and objects both are empty, and this emptiness is also empty
    6. Reflections As management students, sometimes you reflect  on issues which are philosophical in nature. Do you see that the entire discussion is trivial or  of some value. If so what? If not what? Discuss with you friends. Please go through the website and give your comments. http://www.dailyzen.com/zen/zen_reading0703.asp 
